About Matthew VanDeburgh:

My name is Matthew VanDeburgh.  I am a songwriter based in the southeast.  I write about the life themes that inspire me- love and loss, hope and truth, addiction and healing.  My personal journey has carried me through many places of discovery, both literal and metaphorical.  Through survival and self-discovery, I've developed a faith in both humanity and my spiritual higher power that sustains me through the ever changing seasons of this phase of my existence.  Through my creative medium of music, I hope to share these emotions and experiences with the listener, and to find a common plane of understanding and nostalgia where we can meet.
